Re-presenting previously damaged, salvaged work — cracked and broken, refired and reworked — this piece re-presents a controlled narrative and the “make-up” we apply to try and cover our flaws; to tell a story that we want the world to see and read us by — while acknowledging that these flaws are what makes us and the work beautiful.
