British Glass Biennale 2019

Lauren Puckett’s work The Contaminant As Actor was selected for this year’s prestigious British Glass Biennale.


8-26 July & 17-25 September

A juried exhibition celebrating 40 years of the Scottish Glass Society featuring work from 18 artists, representing a wealth of glassmaking talent in Scotland.

The exhibition will run in North Lands Creative 8-26 July 2019 and will then move to Trades Hall, Glassford Street, Glasgow G1 1UH from 17-25 September 2019.

Edinburgh College of Art graduates among winners of third Inches Carr Graduate Craft Awards

Inventory: Product Design & Glass Exhibition

Product Design 4th year and Glass MA / MFA at the Edinburgh College of Art are hosting an exhibition in the ECAFire Station space from the 5th to the 8th of December. A work-in-progress exhibition showcasing the weird and wonderful, speculative and dicursive, monstrous and mysterious workings-of-the-minute, and a sneak peak for the 2018 degree show!

You are warmly invited to our opening night and drinks reception at 5PM Tuesday 5th December 2017. The show is open thereafter from the 6th – 8th December, 10AM – 4PM daily.

Will Puckett bids farewell to the Queen City 

The man behind the murals

You could say Will Puckett and his family had come full circle on their experience living in Charlotte's NoDa neighborhood on a recent Monday evening.

His sister, Bobbie Puckett, was hanging out with his wife, Lauren, and two daughters, 3 and 5 years old, while they ate from a Domino's box on the floor. Will poured another Premium Roast Coffee Stout from a NoDa Brewery growler, exhausted from the day's work, which included finishing a piece of art for his mother-in-law while packing all of his belongings and getting them ready for transport overseas.

This Artist Is Bringing Stained Glass into the 21st Century

You’d think an art form as luminous and multi-colored as stained glass would have more of a scene than just church windows. And to be fair, we’ve seen some sweet prismatic art and home projects. But this is the first time we’ve seen a maker put such a modern twist on traditional stained glass portraits.

Yes, that is a stained glass portrait of Cam’ron, the rapper, and of course, he approved, calling it “#Dope.”
